WARNING

Starting your own business is not a small step. While 436,018 businesses were started last year, 362,893 also closed down for various reasons. The first step in our program is designed to help you work out the validity of your business idea. If after this stage you work out that starting a business is not for you, we can pivot the support we provide you to helping you get your next job.
Our program differs from traditional outplacement services in several key ways:
-
Focus on entrepreneurship: We help you recognise the skills and talents you have. We empower you to build your own business.
-
Personalised support: Our program is tailored to your individual needs and business goals.
-
Practical guidance: We provide hands-on assistance with all aspects of starting a business. You have access to our online training portal that guides you through the steps required to start a business and give you practical tools and templates to support you to do it.
-
Ongoing support: We're with you every step of the way, even after you launch your business.
NEXT STEPS
1. Confirm that Outplacement Support is part of your redundancy.
Many organisations will provide help to employees that have been made redundant. They will often have a provider of traditional outplacement services they have used in the past. However, our experience is that most are willing to redeploy the funding if you ask and can show them a specific alternative you would like to pursue.
If outplacement funding is not a part of your redundancy and you would still like to invest in this program let us know and we can explore a payment program that can work for you.

Flexibility
Content: While the foundations are the same, the execution of each program will vary based on the skills and background of the participant. If you are an accountant starting an online fashion brand you will not need much help with finance. If you are a marketer starting a tech company then Sales and Marketing may already be your strength. Your coach will work with you to identify the areas that need to be focused on.
Business Structure: The word 'Start up' refers to starting something from scratch. Our program can help you with that. You may also look at acquiring an established business. Our program caters for this option as well. We have a module and resources which help you think though what to look for when acquiring an established business underpinned by coaching support.
3. Register Your Interest.
Share a bit of basic information about yourself. We will then get in touch and share some more information with you and answer any questions you might have to help you work out if this program is a good fit for you.
